You should go for it! 50k is an intimidating distance, that’s for sure. But the beauty of running is that with diligent training and effort, you can get there! You’ve got plenty of time to prepare before November!

I modified the 50k training plan in Krissy Moehl’s book, Running your first Ultra (https://www.amazon.com/Running-Your-First-Ultra-Customizable/dp/1624141420/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1530025240&sr=8-1&keywords=krissy+moehl). I shortened it to 16 weeks based on my previous training but am incorporating the hill, speed, and strength workouts. It’s going well so far!
